The Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On military duty and military Service" is quite generous with deferrals and exemptions from the soldier's webbing. And this is used by a wide range of so-called citizens of military age. But today we are not talking about them. Service in our army has always involved hardships and hardships. Now there are no fewer of them. It is precisely these guys who should not initially get excited in a patriotic rush on the topic "I will serve wherever my homeland sends me!" (of course, if the country has not declared general mobilization). On the contrary, even during the passage of the draft commission in the military commissariat at the place of residence, you need to tell the official officials who decide where to send you exactly about your family problems. By the way, citizens who have retired parents (who, in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On Military Duty and Military Service", are not given a deferral from conscription on the basis of the presence of other persons who are obliged to take care of their parents), can also serve near the paternal home. And this should be clearly and distinctly reminded to people from the military enlistment office during the passage of the draft board. This leave, as well as the main one, in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On the Status of Military Personnel" is increased by the amount of time (days) required to travel by land (water) transport to the place of its holding and back.

Personal leave granted to conscripted military personnel must be paid. That is, before leaving, you must take care of obtaining military transport documents that give you the right to move by rail, air, water and road (except for taxi) transport. If, for some reason, the IDP was not issued or they were not accepted at the ticket office and had to go home at their own expense, then upon returning to the unit (to the ship), all travel documents, as well as a vacation ticket with marks of the military commandant's office (military enlistment office) on arrival and departure should be handed over to the combat unit and wait for monetary compensation of expenses.
